Fabric is only the beginning. Proportion, texture, the depth of a seat, the line of a welt, whether a skirt stays or the legs come forward: those choices are what make a piece look intentional instead of simply covered.
I work one project at a time, which means we can talk about how the piece actually lives in your home, who sits in it, and what it should feel like when it comes back.
What I Take On
Upholstery Work, Piece by Piece
One chair or a whole room of seating. Both are welcome on the bench.
Accent & Lounge Chairs
The chair you keep moving from room to room, brought back with a fabric that finally suits it.
Dining & Swivel Chairs
Sets of two, four, or ten, patterned so every seat matches at the welt and the corners.
Sofas & Settees
Full recovers, tightened seats, and skirts or exposed legs finished the way the frame asks for.
Ottomans & Benches
Tufted, boxed, or clean topped, sized for the room they are going into.
Seat & Back Cushions
New covers for cushions that are still good, and new inserts for the ones that are not.
Boxed Cushions
Window seats, banquettes, and daybeds cut with a true box so the edges hold their shape.
Piping, Welt & Details
Self welt, contrast piping, nailhead lines, and stitch placement chosen with you.
Fabric Replacement
Bring your own textile or work through mine, with a look at the yardage before we commit.
Padding & Cushioning
Foam, batting, and support improved where a piece has gone soft or uneven.
Restoration Alongside Upholstery
Frame tightening and finish work when a piece needs it to sit right again.
What It Could Become
Same Frame, Different Room
Sometimes the goal is to preserve the character of a piece and let it look like itself again. Sometimes a dated silhouette only needs a quieter fabric and a cleaner detail to read as current. And sometimes we go somewhere entirely new: a color you would not have expected, contrast piping, a texture that changes the whole feel of the room.

An Honest Answer
Is It Worth Reupholstering?
Not every piece should be, and I will tell you when that is the case. The ones that usually make sense look something like this:
- Solid, well built frames that still feel sturdy
- Pieces with dimensions or comfort you already love
- Vintage or distinctive furniture you would not find again
- Sentimental pieces that came from family
- Furniture that would be hard or costly to replace with something comparable
